Jonathan, or “J”, as he is often called, holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology (Magna Cum Laude) and a Masters degree in the same field (Cum Laude). He also has completed his academics (Cum Laude) for a Masters in Guidance and Counseling.

 

Professionally, “J” started off being in the HR department of Saint Louis University (SLU). After this, however, he took to being Professor of Psychology at the same university and in the University of the Philippines Baguio, teaching Guidance and Counseling, Developmental Psychology, Theories of Personality, Psychometrics, Inferential Statistics and Social Psychology, among others… Having been involved in theatre and the performing arts, he also taught Music, Voice and Conducting, and has been a director, choreographer, actor and musical director of various plays, choirs and performances. Being a youth leader, he also is involved in various career counseling, training and team building activities of his community. More so, various institutions and groups have invited him as speaker/facilitator for seminars/workshops in the various fields he works with.

 

He was blessed to be awarded the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines of CAR (TOYM-CAR) and the Ten Outstanding Youth-Professional level (TOY-Baguio) awards by the Rotary Club of the Philippines.  He is the Immediate Past Division Governor of Northern and Central Luzon for Toastmasters International in the Philippines.  He also has been an Over-all Champion in the Toastmasters Quartethlon Contest where one contestant participates in 4 categories of Impromptu, Evaluation, Singing and Prepared Speech Contests.

 

He holds Course Certificates in Organizational Development and Training and Development under the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP). “J” is a certified Development Dimensions International (DDI) Facilitator as well as a Consultant and Facilitator of Organizational Change Consultants International (OCCI). He now is associated with Engaged Consulting as a Trainer and Facilitator.

 

Jonathan was formerly the Head of Training and Development, after being Head of Recruitment, of Moog Controls Corporation, an American company manufacturing precision controls for commercial aviation (Boeing and Airbus) and various Industrial applications.

 

After being invited to join ministry as a Campus Missionary, under the Light of Jesus Family of Bo Sanchez, he has been the Pastoral Head of The Feast Manila (TFM) 1st Session, pioneering the council composed of young Campus Missionaries. He is the Pioneer Campus Missionary for the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) and one of the Consultants for Campus Missions south of Manila.

 

He is a certified Meta-Coach under the International Society of Neuro-Semantics. This being the integration of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Neuro-Semantics (NS) in the practice of Coaching. He also handles several Growth Circles of leaders, as well as individuals, who request him to be their coach or mentor. Recently, he was certified as a Neuro-Semantic Modular Trainer.

 

Believing in the innate potential of the individual, Jonathan is also a Certified Clifton Strengthsfinder Coach by GALLUP International.  Currently assigned to Feast Alabang, he is a full-fledged Feast Builder of two Feasts, or prayer gatherings of the Light of Jesus Family under Bro Bo Sanchez.

 

Being the Owner and Chief Facilitator of LifeWorks Coaching and Consulting, “J” now divides his time among coaching and speaking engagements, community related activities, such as facilitating retreats, and more so conducting corporate seminars and workshops on Coaching, Leadership, Communication, Motivation, Spirituality, Teambuilding and Organizational Development.
